Project

Oneka is an innovative and dynamic start-up dedicated to transforming the oceans into a sustainable and affordable source of fresh water. Over the years, Oneka has developed remarkable expertise in harnessing wave energy, offering its customers high-performance, reliable and patented solutions. Oneka’s desalination systems produce water that meets World Health Organization (WHO) standards and can be adjusted to meet specific criteria.

Customer’s Problem :
In order to make the most of one of their grants, Oneka wanted to put their latest generation desalination buoy prototype into production before the funding deadline. However, a lack of in-house project management and procurement capacity made meeting this deadline critical and put the success of the project at risk.

Customer Need :
Oneka wanted to integrate several procurement and product development experts into their team to help them plan the manufacturing by its network of suppliers and the production launch of the buoy.
" Our collaboration with Merkur enabled us to increase our capacity during a critical period when our staffing needs exceeded our ability to find employees. Merkur's staff quickly integrated into our teams, followed our advice, rolled up their sleeves and added value right from the start. Thank you for a great experience! "

" It was quite a challenge to get on board of the Oneka train, which was already moving at full speed, but I'm proud of how quickly we were able to get into action to achieve Oneka's ambitious goals, not only by bringing our support directly to them, but also by letting them benefit from the strength of the Merkur team that supported us behind the scenes.
